UNPO's newsletter X-2016

During the month of October, the Unrepresented Nations and Peoples Organization (UNPO) organised a protest in The Hague, a workshop in Brussels and convened a conference at the European Parliament. For example, on the occasion of Ilham Tohti's nomination for the Sakharov Prize for Freedom of Thought, UNPO co-organised a conference at the European Parliament in Brussels with the Ilham Tohti Initiative and ChinaChange.org hosted by Ilhan Kyuchyuk MEP entitled "Ilham Tohti and the Sakharov Prize: Courage in the Face of Brutality". Moreover, UNPO organised a protest in front of the Peace Palace in the Hague to denounce the gross human rights violations perpetrated by the Pakistani army against the people of Balochistan.
