Botswana president in racist outburst against Kalahari Bushmen

In an astonishing outburst, Botswana’s president has described the Kalahari Bushmen as ‘primeval’, ‘primitive’ and ‘backward’. The UK High Commissioner posted a blog item praising Botswana’s ‘good reputation on human rights’, and neglecting to mention the government’s abuses against the Bushmen.
