No Peace Without Justice (NPWJ) will celebrate International Human Rights Day this year by organising the “No Peace Without Justice Human Rights Award” in Rome on 9 December 2013 (Program).
Non c'è Pace senza Giustizia (NPSG) celebra la Giornata Mondiale dei Diritti Umani organizzando il 9 dicembre 2013 a Roma la consegna del “Premio No Peace Without Justice per i Diritti Umani” (Programma).
The Award aims to support those fighting in Italy and around the world for the protection of human rights, fundamental freedoms, democracy and the rule of law. The Award provides political recognition, and does not have a monetary value. It will be awarded in two categories: one for activities carried out in Italy and one for activities carried out at the international level.(Rules)
Il Premio è volto a sostenere coloro che in Italia e nel mondo si battono per la promozione dei diritti umani, delle libertà fondamentali, della democrazia e dello stato di diritto. Il Premio, che è un riconoscimento politico e non ha carattere monetario, ha due sezioni: una per le attività svolte in Italia, e una per le attività a livello internazionale.(Regolamento)
The selection of the Laureate in each Award category will be made by the Prize Jury, composed of leading figures in the promotion of human rights and representatives of the institutional bodies involved.
La Commissione giudicatrice selezionerà i Laureati per ognuna delle categorie del Premio. La Commissione sarà composta da personalità autorevoli nel mondo dei diritti umani e da rappresentati degli organi istituzionali coinvolti.
The Laureats will be awarded during a ceremony, in the presence of institutional representatives at the highest level.
Il Premio sarà consegnato alla presenza delle più alte cariche dello Stato.
